Ricky Jarman is going to be a name that you wont want to forget. This hip hop/pop singer, songwriter, performer and model has been making his way through the music industry at a rapid pace. We have been following this thriving artist since the beginning and are excited to see the new direction of his “re-branding” as an artist.
After Ricky Jarman released his single “Get to Know Ya” we knew instantly that the future of his career was going to be just as good or better.
I’m excited to announce that Ricky Jarman has FINALLY released his latest single, Lucky. The anticipation for this release has been crazy. The way Ricky has planned his song drop through social media has been strategically thought out in the best possible way. Ricky has stayed engaged with his fans with such excitement until the moment his song released. Talk about giving the fans what they want!
Prior to his video release, Ricky reached out to me and let me get a sample of Lucky. Can I just say it’s been on replay and oh I’ve been singing it at least once a day. Thanks Ricky. Thanks!
Needless to say, I was really interested on the back story of his song. Lucky was recorded at The Harmonix Factory Studio in Raleigh, NC. Produced by Sam Harmonix. Co-written by Ricky Jarman and Sam Harmonix. What I was really interested in was how long it took for him to create such a hit. “It took about 3 days to produce, write, and record it.” Last, after finally watching the music video of Lucky I enjoyed the story. I wanted to know the inspiration behind it. So I asked Ricky and he replied, “I wanted to create something outside of the box and something that could appeal to more then one demographic. It’s a universal desire to want to stay youthful forever so why not make a story line that makes the viewer feel lucky.”
He’s back at it again. Ricky Jarman, hip hop/pop singer, songwriter, performer and model, just debuted his newest and most anticipated single, Get To Know Ya. From the moment the beat dropped I was automatically hooked. The hook is extremely catchy; it’s hard to not sing along. “I just want to get to, I just want to get to, and I just want to get to, know ya.” This song is seriously a chart topper.
A lot goes into preparing for a single release and I’m happy to see the amount of promotion and teasers Ricky and his team have been doing upon the release of Get To Know Ya. Everything he’s been doing on social media has been strategically positioned making us want to listen to his single, am I right?
One of my favorite videos that help me stay connected to the single is of course the lyric video. Ricky Jarman has been rising to the top ever since I met him and I must say, to be an artist with such drive and ambition is what really brings their music to life and makes you more connected to their brand.
Chase Aaron is back at it again but this time he’s releasing his ENTIRE album!
After collaborating with Evan Navarro, Chase has decided to include a virtual photo gallery with the album when downloaded.
Chase Aaron has been on fire this entire year. From releasing his single Radio in August, being featured on several music blogs, his release of Power, and his #WTFWednesday my question for him is, “Do you sleep?” I know as a Full Sail Student they embed such crazy hours into your system that sleep is there when you’re finished with a project.
In my eye’s Chase Aaron is #trending. His music captures your attention, and makes you want to listen over and over. I have to admit; I’ve been playing Radio in my car on my way to work because just like his lyrics say, “I hope these lyrics get stuck in your head until you start repeating them.” They are indeed stuck in my head. I have been anticipating Chase Aarons album because unlike most upcoming artists he uses his artistic ability to cover all aspects of his brand.
The quality of his album artwork, music videos, and photos are what keep his fans following. It’s amazing to see an individual using his creativity in ways that Chase does. I must say out of all the artists I’ve worked with or been around he’s one that stands out. As for irrelevant bloggers posting on behalf of music they probably never listened to, I would never compare Chase Aarons music to a “pre 2010” Kanye West. Chase Aarons music to me reminds is unique. When I listen to Power I don’t think of who does he sound like, I just vibe.
I also took notice that not only does Chase produce his own music but he does make beats so if you’re looking to work with Chase follow him on Facebook and Twitter.
Justyce has just released a remix to MGK’s Lead You On, Beautiful Pain.
Rapper || Independent Artist || Articulator
Justyce is an independent rapper residing in Orlando, FL. Justyce focuses his time and energy into what he loves most and that’s music. It’s good to see small town artists making moves within the industry. Justyce has also been doing shows in the Orlando area this past summer with even being an opening act for Joell Ortiz. It’s clear that you have to start somewhere in the industry and Justyce is doing just that. He’s paying his dues just like the rest of the artists who have worked their way to the top. Nowadays, a record deal isn’t just handed to you. Since the competition is so high and everyone is trying to make it you need to continue to put out music, do shows, and build your brand. I have been following Justyce’s journey through the industry and I must say he does not stop! If he believes in something he’s going to make it happen by all means.
In a recent interview I asked Justyce,”Do you relate yourself to any of the artists that inspire you, by the way you articulate your music and the beats that you have?”
J: “Oh yeah, I am relate myself more to MGK because everything I write about is something I’ve lived through, dealt with or been around.”
Don’t forget to comment your thoughts! If you’re looking to collaborate with Justyce email him here.
